Mimo is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If an account is found to belong to a minor, Mimo reserves the right to immediately suspend or delete the account and related data, without prior notice.
7. Verified Profiles — Safety Recommendation
Mimo strongly recommends that all Users complete the profile verification process available in the App.
Profile verification confirms the User’s identity through a selfie compared with profile photos and, where applicable, a valid identification document. Verified profiles receive a visible badge (“verified profile”) that increases trust within the Mimo community.
Data used solely for verification (including copies of identification documents) are treated with the highest level of confidentiality, retained only for the period necessary for validation, and are not shared with other Users or used for any other purpose.
IMPORTANT: the “verified profile” badge confirms that the person in the photograph matches the account holder at the time of verification. It does not constitute, and must not be interpreted as, a guarantee of integrity, criminal background, marital status, intentions or behaviour of the User. Mimo does not perform criminal background checks and is not responsible for the accuracy of other information provided by the User in their profile.
